Aurora Fonda is the new commissioner of Slovene pavilion and the curator of the project presented. She has been working in the field of contemporary art for some years, researching the most innovative practices of international contemporary art. She has specialised for the organisation of the projects like actions, performances and exhibitions, that are reaching outside of gallery contexts and into the space of everyday life and by that turn the viewer into an active participant. Her professor for contemporary art in Venice was Giuseppe Mazzariol. Some of the projects she curated are: Paura (project, organised with Oliviero Toscani for the Benetton school Fabrica), Dressed House (Matej Andraž Vogrinčič - Venice Biennial 1999), exhibitions of Jannis Kounnelis, Enzo Cucchi and Lucio Fontana.
